PNRR_RNA@MMS: Integrated Computational RNA Engineering (ICRE): cutting edge computational technologies for the development of therapeutically relevant natural RNAs and chemo-engineered RNA mimics.
Topic hints: | Integrated Computational RNA Engineering (ICRE) is an emerging approach with huge potential to accelerate RNA-based drug discovery. The focus of ICRE is on INTEGRATION: integration of RNA structure design approaches with RNA synthesis strategies, integration of RNA structural prediction models with thermodynamic stability of RNA in solution, integration of RNA structure with its immunogenicity profile, integration of RNA structure with the RNA-interactome, and so on with the end objective of accelerating the design and industrial deployment of new RNA-based drug in different critical therapeutic area. |
WP 7.3: | Design and development of RNA drugs in different therapeutic areas. |
Task 7.3.1. Set up and design of advanced Molecular Dynamics simulations to explore the conformational changes of native and chemically modified RNA Task 7.3.2. Development and application of RNA-protein/ligand molecular docking and dynamics simulations for the identification of new drug candidates Task 7.3.3. RNA quantum enzymology and analysis of cryo-EM maps for resolving RNA structures and interactomes
